In a pointed interview on Fox News, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu defended the recent military strikes against Iran, emphasizing the urgent need to act before it was too late. He highlighted Iran’s deliberate targeting of civilians with ballistic missiles, contrasting it sharply with Israel and America’s focus on terrorists.

Netanyahu described these missiles as ‘like a truck filled with TNT crashing at Mach 8 speed,’ noting that such attacks had already killed nine people. ‘This is the difference between Tehran and us,’ he stated firmly. ‘Tehran’s mass murderers target civilians, while Israel and the US target terrorists.’

The Israeli leader argued that the strikes were essential because Iran persisted in advancing its nuclear and ballistic missile programs despite previous warnings. ‘We hit their nuclear sites and missile facilities, but they didn’t learn,’ Netanyahu said. Iran had begun constructing new underground bunkers, designed to shield their weapons from future assaults.

Delaying action would have allowed Iran to fortify these capabilities, potentially enabling them to blackmail the US, threaten Israel, and endanger other nations. ‘If we hadn’t acted now, it would have been impossible later,’ he warned. Netanyahu praised President Donald Trump’s resolute leadership, calling the US-Israel alliance stronger than ever.

This operation, he stressed, prevented Iran’s ‘murderous regime’ from becoming untouchable. As tensions simmer in the Middle East, Netanyahu’s words underscore Israel’s commitment to preemptive defense against existential threats.
