FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (AP) — Safety officials at a South Florida airport have reported discovering a handgun hidden within a uncooked rooster packed in a traveler’s baggage.
The Transportation Safety Management posted footage of the gun and poultry Monday on its legitimate Instagram account. The weapon used to be recovered on the Citadel Lauderdale-Hollywood Global Airport.
The put up didn’t establish the traveler who used to be transporting the weapon or whether or not any arrests had been made.
In keeping with the TSA, recent meat, seafood and different non-liquid meals pieces are approved in each carry-on and checked baggage, so long as they’re packed in ice. Unloaded firearms are allowed to be transported in checked baggage, however they should be declared on the price ticket counter and packed in a locked hard-sided container.
