Stephen Colbert gave Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) holy hell over a brand new advert claiming he used to be made through God on “the 8th day” to be a fighter.
Critics have ripped the brand new spot ― a play on a 2013 Tremendous Bowl advert about farmers that used to be taken from a 1978 speech through radio legend Paul Harvey ― as sacrilegious. And the spot left the “Overdue Display” host smiling in disbelief.
“Sure, God made a fighter,” Colbert mentioned. “He made Eve from Adam’s rib and Ron DeSantis from Adam’s taint.”
