White Space Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre reminded CNN White Space Correspondent Jeremy Diamond that state dinner invitations for a president’s members of the family are “no longer unusual” after he requested about Hunter Biden’s invite within the wake of a plea settlement he reached with the Division of Justice.
Biden reached a plea deal on gun and tax evasion fees on Tuesday, two days earlier than he attended a state dinner for Indian High Minister Narendra Modi later within the week.
Diamond, on Friday, requested Jean-Pierre if she may just destroy down President Joe Biden’s “considering and decision-making” associated with the invitation earlier than she snapped again on the reporter’s query.
“I’m simply no longer going to get into circle of relatives dialogue, non-public circle of relatives dialogue. As you already know, Hunter is his son. I’m simply no longer going to get into that,” Jean-Pierre answered.
Diamond went on to invite Jean-Pierre what would happen if Hunter Biden wasn’t associated with the president.
“Smartly, let me ask you this: If Hunter Biden wasn’t the President’s son, would he have invited any person who had simply reached a plea settlement with federal prosecutors two days…,” Diamond requested.
“Smartly, a pair [of] issues. Once more, that’s his son… he’s a circle of relatives member. It’s not unusual for members of the family to wait occasions on the White Space. Lets have a look at previous presidents; I’m positive you may have. So that isn’t unusual,” Jean-Pierre asserted.
“Because it pertains to anything else associated with — to Hunter, I’m simply no longer going to answer it from right here.”
