NEWRY, Maine (AP) — A host of Santa lookalikes took to the ski slopes to unfold some seasonal cheer on Sunday.
Greater than 300 jolly ol’ elves — all wearing crimson — dashed in combination down a mountain with white beards and Santa hats flapping within the breeze on the Sunday River ski lodge in Maine. A snowboarding Grinch and a snowboarding Christmas tree joined the celebration.
It wasn’t precisely a wintry weather wonderland — there used to be little herbal snow. The snow-making machines at Sunday River produced sufficient of the fluffy stuff for the once a year custom. Santa Sunday has grown in recognition over greater than twenty years, elevating $7,500 this 12 months for an area charity.
