Former Ron DeSantis Appointee Gives Perception Into How The Governor Will Battle Trump

Rep. Jared Moskowitz (D-Fla.) recommended how Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) will tackle former President Donald Trump if and when the governor jumps into the 2024 presidential race, which he’s anticipated to do imminently.

Moskowitz, who joined Congress in January, served as DeSantis’ director of the Florida Department of Emergency Control from 2019 to 2021.

Speaking to CNN’s “This Morning” display on Monday, Moskowitz described DeSantis as “extraordinarily vivid,” detail-oriented and data-driven ― however stated he disagreed with most of the extremist insurance policies the governor has driven in fresh months

“He’s data-driven, so he’s going to take a look at the numbers,” Moskowitz stated on whether or not DeSantis will take off the “child gloves” with which he’s been treating GOP front-runner Trump to this point.

DeSantis will “check his messages” and determine “what is operating and what isn’t operating” earlier than he assaults, he added.

Moskowitz said, despite the fact that, “For those who’re going to head take down Donald Trump, you’re going to need to play on his degree.” Thus far, DeSantis has best calmly attacked Trump, most probably for concern of offending the previous president’s base.

With DeSantis and, most likely, former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R) about to enroll in Trump within the race, Moskowitz warned the GOP number one is “about to become a UFC-WWE struggle.” He advised other people to “buckle up and strap in as a result of that is going to be one thing we’ve now not observed.”
