Fred White, the previous drummer of Earth, Wind & Fireplace, has died, in line with his brother Verdine. He was once 67.
“Our circle of relatives is saddened as of late with the lack of an incredible and proficient circle of relatives member, our liked brother Frederick Eugene ‘Freddie’ White,” Verdine, a former bandmate, wrote in a social media publish sharing the inside track.
Verdine described his brother as a “superb bro” who was once “at all times entertaining and delightfully mischievious.”
“He’ll reside in our hearts eternally, relaxation in energy liked Freddie!!”
No reason for loss of life was once given.
Hailed as “drum prodigy” through Pitchfork, White joined Earth, Wind & Fireplace in 1974 on the age of nineteen.
White left the band within the Nineteen Eighties after enjoying drums on just about 10 albums, together with on spoil hits like “Saturday Nite,” “September” and “Boogie Wonderland.”
White was once inducted into the Rock & Roll Corridor of Status in 2000 in conjunction with different individuals of the band.
