The United States, a major global power, finds itself surrounded by growing challenges. Despite the US’s efforts to promote peace, two new conflicts are escalating. Venezuela has mobilized its significant militia forces, while North Korea, under Kim Jong Un, has ramped up its rhetoric against the US and its allies.

Across the globe, Kim Jong Un has viewed the US-South Korea joint military drills as a prelude to war, and announced an increase in nuclear weapons production to counter perceived threats.
