Washington is reporting significant progress in its military campaign against Iran, with White House officials stating that Operation Epic Fury is advancing rapidly toward its objectives. President Donald Trump is simultaneously pushing for boosted domestic arms production while U.S. intelligence assesses potential post-conflict leadership in Tehran.

White House Press Secretary Caroline Leavitt briefed reporters on the operation’s swift momentum, noting that key targets could be achieved within weeks. ‘The President has been clear: this mission will take four to six weeks, and we’re moving at full speed,’ she emphasized.

U.S. forces have inflicted severe damage on Iran’s military infrastructure, particularly its navy. Over 30 Iranian vessels have been sunk, rendering their fleet combat-ineffective. This follows precision strikes that have crippled Tehran’s naval capabilities.

A primary aim is neutralizing Iran’s ballistic missile threat to American troops and bases in the region. Leavitt highlighted a 90% reduction in retaliatory missile launches from Iran within six days of the operation’s start. Proxy groups like Hezbollah and the Houthis have shown minimal resistance.

The campaign seeks to eliminate threats from Iran to the U.S. and its allies. Addressing Trump’s call for Iran’s ‘unconditional surrender,’ Leavitt clarified that it means Tehran will be defenseless once objectives are met, as determined by the President as Commander-in-Chief.

Iran’s current leadership has been decimated, with over 50 key figures eliminated in joint U.S.-Israeli operations. Few remain capable of governing effectively. On questions about Iran’s political future, Leavitt said intelligence agencies are evaluating leadership alternatives but offered no further details.

Amid reports of Russian intelligence support to Iran, Leavitt downplayed their significance. As the operation progresses, Washington is preparing for a transformed Middle East landscape, with domestic manufacturing ramped up to sustain long-term security needs.
