Following US military action in Iran, former President Donald Trump declared that Iranian nuclear sites had sustained ‘monumental damage.’ He used satellite images to support his claims and emphasized the level of destruction. Trump described the impact as substantial, using the word ‘obliteration’ to portray the extent of the damage. These assertions were made in response to ‘Operation Midnight Hammer,’ which reportedly involved ‘precision strikes’ against nuclear facilities in Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan. Furthermore, Trump hinted at the potential for a ‘regime change’ in Iran, suggesting that the current government’s ability to improve the nation was questionable. US Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth confirmed the success of the operation, stating that the strikes were aimed at degrading Iran’s nuclear program.
