He also expressed concern to Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu and advised him to advance the peace process. Trump posted on social media that the decision was Netanyahu’s, not his. He instructed Secretary of State Marco Rubio to finalize the US-Qatar defense agreement as soon as possible. Due to the US stance, it is believed that Qatar will not retaliate against the Israeli attacks.
