Donald Trump has once again advocated for his tariff strategy, calling it the ‘most beautiful word.’ He stated that other countries had been taking advantage of the US for years, but now the US is treating them fairly. Trump also declared his love for tariffs, calling them his favorite word, and claimed that the US is ‘becoming rich as hell.’ He noted that the US is again ‘rich’ after taking in ‘trillions of dollars.’ Trump earlier announced a 100% tariff on all foreign-made movies, alleging that the US film industry had been ‘stolen’ by foreign companies. Additionally, Trump stated that his administration would impose a 100% tariff on specific pharmaceutical products unless those companies establish US production facilities.
