In a Tuesday announcement, President Donald Trump confirmed the relocation of the US Space Command headquarters from its current location in Colorado to Huntsville, Alabama. This action contradicts the Biden administration’s 2023 decision, which had favored keeping the headquarters in Colorado Springs.

At the White House, Trump enthusiastically shared, “I am thrilled to report that the US Space Command headquarters will move to the beautiful locale of a place called Huntsville, Alabama, forever to be known from this point forward as Rocket City.”
