    Truck Fare Hike Details: Truck owners have got great pleasure. Truck owners have got a lot of happiness due to increase in truck fares in January 2025 on many routes of the country. The fares have been increased by 4 percent. The reason behind this increase is the increase in transportation of fruits and vegetables in winter.

    Information about the increase in truck fares came from the monthly report of Shriram Finance. According to which the reasons for the boom in the manufacturing sector, increase in demand for vegetables and fruits during the winter season are mainly involved in this fare hike.

    The quarter of January to March is very important for agriculture and logistics sector. The supply of goods also increases in this, due to which the fare was affected.

    On which routes did truck fares increase? (Truck fare hike details)

    In January, truck fares from Delhi to Mumbai, Mumbai to Delhi have increased by 4 percent. Truck fares on Mumbai to Kolkata, Kolkata to Mumbai route increased by 3.7 percent in January. There has been an increase of 3.3 per cent on Delhi to Hyderabad, Hyderabad to Delhi and Kolkata to Guwahati, Guwahati to Kolkata routes.

    Positive signal for logistics sector

    This increase in fares is considered a good sign for the logistics sector. In the winter season, the demand for transportation also increases due to increasing demand for vegetables, grains, fruits etc. Due to which the fares have been increased.

    Vehicle sales also increased

    The freight of trucks has not only increased, but the sale of trucks has also risen. Last month, commercial vehicles have been sold a lot.

    In January, the sales of three -wheelers carrying goods increased by 32 per cent. Apart from this, sales of passenger buses increased by 59 per cent, motor cars 54 per cent, two -wheelers’ sales 27 per cent and agricultural trailers sales increased by 15 per cent. In January, sales of electric two -wheelers increased by 21 per cent and sales of electric cars by 16 per cent.
