Claudia Tenney, a U.S. Representative, is preparing to nominate Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize for the third time. The nomination portal will reopen in the fall, and Tenney intends to submit her third nomination then. She previously nominated Trump twice and is resolute in her pursuit of the award for him. Tenney noted that she was the only member of Congress to submit a formal nomination for Trump previously. Her past nominations cited Trump’s work on the Abraham Accords and his opposition to Iran and Palestinian terrorism, arguing that his leadership has greatly benefited world peace.
