His television show, “Caught in Providence”, also garnered substantial viewership, cementing his fame and the title “nicest judge in the world.” His passing, due to pancreatic cancer, was announced on his official Instagram, where he was lauded for his warmth and his unwavering faith in people’s inherent goodness. Judge Caprio presided over numerous cases in his hometown, Providence, before transitioning to a TV career. His courtroom demeanor generated many viral moments, including instances of him inviting children to sit beside him at the bench.
