INS Surat
INS Surat is the fourth and last stealth guided-missile destroyer built under Project 15B of the Indian Navy. Its foundation was laid on 7 November 2019 and it was launched on 17 May 2022. This warship has advanced radar systems and stealth features which give it the ability to attack the enemy secretly. It is 164 meters long with a displacement of 7,400 tonnes and is equipped with all types of weapons from undersea missiles to torpedoes. With its ‘Combined Gas and Gas’ (COGAG) propulsion system, the ship can run at a speed of 30 knots (56 km/h).

INS Nilgiri

It was established on 28 December 2017 and launched on 28 September 2019. It weighs 6,670 tonnes and is 149 meters long. INS Nilgiri has been specially designed to reduce radar signature, thereby remaining hidden from enemy sightings. This ship is equipped with supersonic surface-to-surface and medium range surface-to-air missiles, which will enable it to deal with different threats located in the sea. This warship will not only enhance India’s defense capabilities, but will also prove to be a big challenge for enemies like China and Pakistan in the maritime domain.

INS vagsheer
INS Waghshir is the sixth and last diesel-electric submarine built under the Scorpene-class Project 75 of the Indian Navy. It is specially designed for covert operations so that it can carry out its missions without any noise in enemy areas. This 67 meter long and 1,550 tonne submarine is equipped with wire-guided torpedoes, anti-ship missiles and advanced sonar systems. In the future, there is a possibility of adding Air Independent Propulsion (AIP) technology to it which will further increase its capability.
