The Israeli government has accused Iran of violating the recent ceasefire agreement, prompting a strong warning of retaliation. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced via social media that they would “respond with force” in light of the alleged breach. This announcement followed Israel’s acceptance of a ceasefire proposal put forward by U.S. President Donald Trump.

Israel expressed its appreciation to President Trump and the United States for their assistance, particularly their involvement in mitigating the Iranian nuclear threat. The Prime Minister’s Office confirmed Israel’s commitment to the ceasefire, highlighting the collaboration with President Trump. Any violation would be met with a forceful response.

Earlier, Trump had declared a “complete and total ceasefire” between Israel and Iran, aiming to end the ongoing conflict, which had escalated with Iranian attacks on American air bases. The conflict commenced on June 13 with Israeli airstrikes, known as “Operation Rising Lion,” targeting Iranian military and nuclear sites. Iran responded with a drone and missile campaign, “Operation True Promise 3,” targeting Israeli infrastructure. Further escalation occurred after the U.S. launched precision airstrikes on Iranian nuclear facilities, leading to Iranian missile attacks on U.S. military bases.
