Ongoing threats from former US President Donald Trump have caused the Supreme Leader of the Taliban, Mullah Hibatullah Akhundzada, to frequently relocate, fearing for his safety. This is a significant shift from his established routines. According to sources, Akhundzada is constantly changing his place of residence. Moreover, he has called off his weekly gatherings with the Ulema Council. The leader’s previous residences included Mandigak, Aino Mina, the home of Abdul Razik Achakzai, and the former headquarters of the Kandahar Army Corps. His recent movements have become difficult to track, with his current location unknown for the past three days. Trump’s threats, including comments about regaining control over Bagram Airbase, have likely fueled this change.
