South Korea's New Assembly Speaker Commits to Fast‑Track Constitutional Reform

Seoul, July 28 – In his first press briefing, newly elected National Assembly Speaker Cho Jong‑sik reaffirmed his determination to accelerate the long‑standing constitutional amendment agenda. He announced that a bipartisan special parliamentary committee will be created next year to launch intensive deliberations on the reform package.
