During the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) summit held in Tianjin, China, Russian President Vladimir Putin and Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif held a cordial meeting. Putin invited Sharif to visit Moscow, an invitation the Pakistani Prime Minister gladly accepted. Sharif thanked Putin for his support and efforts to stabilize the region. The meeting underscored the growing ties between Russia and Pakistan. On Monday, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi also met with Putin and was extended an invitation to visit India. The discussions were focused on enhancing cooperation between the nations.
