    As the conflict between Israel and Iran intensifies, the Ministry of External Affairs has taken action to protect Indian citizens in Tehran. Indian students have been evacuated from the city under arrangements made by the Indian Embassy. The MEA has advised other Indian residents who can arrange their transportation to leave Tehran for safety. Moreover, some Indian nationals have been assisted in crossing the border into Armenia. The Indian Embassy in Tehran has issued a notice urging Indian nationals to contact the embassy and share their location and contact information. The contact numbers provided are: +989010144557, +989128109115, and +989128109109. The ongoing conflict has led to a devastating loss of life, with 224 deaths reported in Iran and 24 in Israel after five days of fighting.
