Russia Launches Record Drone Strike on Kyiv, Causing Casualties and Damage

A major Russian drone and missile attack targeted Kyiv on Saturday, according to Ukrainian authorities. The assault resulted in the deaths of at least two people and injuries to 15 others. The attack marks the largest offensive by Russia on Ukraine since the war began in February 2022. Following the attack on Sunday, smoke was seen emanating from the roof of a major government building. The authorities said Russia employed 805 drones in the attack.
