    A Filipino maid, Pido Erlinda Ocampo, aged 53, was fined approximately Rs 8.8 lakh (13,000 Singaporean dollars) in Singapore for a violation related to her work pass. The breach occurred when she worked for a separate employer on her off days, a contravention of the Employment of Foreign Manpower Act. The Ministry of Manpower is currently looking into the matter.
