According to the arrangements so far, passengers can reserve their seats four months in advance. Tatkal tickets can be booked one day before the date of journey. Booking for upper class with 3 AC starts after 10 am every day while Sleeper Tatkal booking starts from 11 am. However, if the tickets have already been booked before November 1, the new rules for advance train ticket booking will have no impact on those bookings.

365 day limit for foreign citizens

No change has been made in this. If railway reservation tickets are booked only 60 days in advance, then people will not be able to book and hold the tickets in advance.
