    According to the Express Tribune, cyber hackers are charging 600 rupees (2000 Pakistani rupees) for phone records. They are also readily providing the data to the relevant parties. Even when politicians and ministers travel abroad, their phones are being tapped, with the cost for this service being around 1000 rupees (3000 Pakistani rupees). The report detailed four methods through which data is being leaked. The first involves the constant tracking of SIM card users’ locations through websites. Secondly, the documents used to obtain SIM cards are being sold. Thirdly, phones are being tapped, and the data is being sold. The report has exposed the extent of the digital privacy breach in Pakistan.
