After the terrorist attack in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir, a meeting of CCS is going on under the chairmanship of PM Narendra Modi at the Prime Minister’s residence on security matters, in which the government can take a big decision regarding Pakistan. Many top officials including Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Foreign Minister S Jaishankar, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, NSA Ajit Doval are present in this meeting. In the meeting, Home Minister Amit Shah informed PM Modi about the Pahalgam terror attack.
Please tell that 27 people died in the terrorist attack on Tuesday afternoon in Pahalgam. At the same time, more than 20 people are injured. The attack was carried out when a large number of tourists were present in the Basaron Valley. Among the dead are tourists from UP, Gujarat, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Odisha. One tourist and 2 local people from Nepal and UAE were also killed.
Security and intelligence agencies have released sketches of suspected terrorists of Pahalgam attack. Their names have been described as Asif Fauji, Suleman Shah and Abu Talha. Intelligence sources said that the mastermind of the attack is Saifullah Khalid, the deputy chief of Lashkar-e-Taiba, who is present in Pakistan. Here, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has also reached Pahalgam for investigation.
Initial investigation has revealed that 5 terrorists were involved in the attack. Two of these were local and 3 Pakistani terrorists. The police have detained hundreds of people for questioning. Lashkar-e-Taiba’s proxy wing the registration Front (TRF) has taken responsibility for the attack. Meanwhile, Pakistan’s Defense Minister Khwaja Asif said that we have no hand in this attack.
