Following the Alaska summit, neither Putin nor Trump answered any media questions. The press conference only indicated that the meeting and discussions had been positive and that further talks would continue. The leaders stated that they agreed on several issues. However, the agreement would not be considered finalized until a deal was signed.

Trump mentioned that he would call NATO and President Zelensky to inform them about the meeting and discussions. During this, Trump stated that he has always had a great relationship with Putin.
