Sri Lanka’s new high minister Ranil Wickremesinghe on Thursday vowed to paintings on uplifting the island country’s financial system, including that he hopes to give a boost to ties with India all through his tenure.

In a while after being appointed as Sri Lankan Top Minister, Ranil Wickremesinghe on Thursday stated he has taken up the problem of uplifting the island country’s crisis-ridden financial system and added that ties with India gets significantly better beneath his authorities.

Mahinda Rajapaksa stepped down because the high minister on Monday, following violent incidents reported between pro-government teams and anti-government protesters.
