Furthermore, the High Court has blocked a move by Netanyahu to oust the Attorney General, who had presented evidence against him in a corruption investigation. The Attorney General had presented arguments against Netanyahu in a corruption case. Netanyahu, during a high-level meeting, had instructed officials to prepare for the occupation of the 41-kilometer Gaza strip, believing a deal with Hamas was no longer viable.
