In a bold address from Jerusalem, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared that Israel’s military campaign against Iran will press on with unrelenting power and no compromises. Speaking live on Saturday, March 8, Netanyahu outlined a meticulously crafted strategy packed with surprises aimed at undermining the Iranian regime and paving the way for transformative change.

He emphasized that the plan’s core objective is to weaken Tehran’s current leadership and foster conditions for a new era in Iran. Turning directly to the Iranian people, Netanyahu offered a message of hope: ‘The time of truth is near. Our goal is not to destroy Iran but to liberate it and live in peace alongside it.’

Netanyahu didn’t hold back in criticizing the United Nations, accusing the body of unfairly condemning Israel for its operations against Iran-backed groups in Gaza while turning a blind eye to violence within Iran itself. He urged Lebanon’s government to enforce a ceasefire agreement rigorously and compel Hezbollah to disarm, warning that failure to do so could unleash devastating consequences for Lebanon from Hezbollah’s provocations.

Meanwhile, across the Atlantic, U.S. President Donald Trump boasted of the devastating impact of a week’s worth of joint U.S.-Israeli operations launched on February 28. Speaking to reporters aboard Air Force One, Trump claimed American strikes have crippled Iran’s military capabilities. ‘We’ve virtually wiped out their navy—44 ships destroyed. Their air force is gone; nearly every plane is down,’ he stated.

Trump detailed extensive damage to Iran’s missile infrastructure, noting that 70 percent of rocket launchers have been obliterated. These systems, he pointed out, are both exorbitantly expensive and extraordinarily difficult to replace. As a result, Iran’s retaliatory strikes have dwindled dramatically—from intense barrages in the first two days to a mere 9 percent of previous capacity. With America holding the upper hand, Trump signaled no rush for negotiations with Tehran, underscoring a position of strength in the escalating conflict.
