Maharashtra: Horrible road accident in Nashik, milk tanker falls into 200 feet deep ditch, 5 dead, 4 critical

Nashik Road Accident. A horrific road accident took place near New Kasara Ghat in Nashik. A milk tanker fell into a 200 feet deep gorge here. 5 people died in the accident while others were seriously injured. The injured have been admitted to the hospital for treatment.

As soon as the information about the accident was received, the police and NDRF team reached the spot. Due to heavy rains, there was a problem in the rescue operation, but with the help of the people, the injured were first taken to the road. 5 dead bodies were brought up with the help of ropes and taken to the post-mortem house. The families of the accident victims have been informed about the accident.

It is expected that three to four people are still trapped in the valley. Jagadguru Narendracharya Maharaj Sansthan Naini Dham Free Ambulance Rogi Mitra Kailash Ghatir has admitted the injured to rural hospitals in Igatpuri and Kasara. Children and women are also involved in this accident.

The deceased include Vijay Ghuge (age 60), resident of Nimon taluka Sangamner, Aarti Jaibhai (age 31), resident of Nallasopara, Sarthak Wagh (age 20), resident of Nihal taluka Sinnar, Ramdas Darade (age 50), resident of Nihal taluka Sinnar and Yogesh Adhav Rahuri, among five others.
