In the wake of his resignation, Nepal’s Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has left Kathmandu. A military aircraft was used for his departure, with the specific destination still unconfirmed. The resignation is a consequence of ongoing, large-scale protests throughout Nepal. These demonstrations have led to a death toll of 19 and over 300 injuries.
