Tehran – Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei declared victory over what he called a fresh conspiracy orchestrated by the United States and Israel. Speaking at a religious gathering, Khamenei asserted that Tehran had completely neutralized the plot hatched by Washington and Tel Aviv to sow chaos in the country.

Khamenei accused America of plotting to destabilize Iran and bring it under its thumb. He directly blamed U.S. President Donald Trump for the deaths and destruction during recent unrest, labeling him a criminal who openly backed rioters and even offered military aid.

The Supreme Leader emphasized Iran’s aversion to war but vowed no mercy for those inciting disorder inside or outside its borders. This comes as weeks-long protests, sparked by economic woes in late December, appear to be fizzling out after turning violent.

Iranian officials maintain that peaceful demonstrations were hijacked by troublemakers. Security forces have detained nearly 3,000 suspects linked to the disturbances, according to semi-official Tasnim news agency.

Signs of normalcy are returning: mobile messaging services resumed Saturday, and schools will reopen Sunday after a week-long closure. On the international front, Lebanon’s Hezbollah voiced strong support for Iran, with leader Naim Qassem hailing it as a pillar of resistance against U.S. hegemony via Al-Manar TV.

Iran’s Foreign Ministry slammed G7 nations for meddling in its internal affairs, urging them to back off. Khamenei’s bold statement underscores Tehran’s narrative of resilience amid global pressures.
