Netanyahu stated in his speech that while Western leaders might yield to pressure, Israel would not. He urged Hamas to lay down arms and release hostages, warning of consequences. Netanyahu used a map, presenting a region called “The Curse,” encompassing Iraq, Iran, Syria, and Yemen, which he portrayed as supporting terrorists. Conversely, “The Blessing” depicted countries like India, Egypt, and Saudi Arabia, presented as allies of Israel. During Netanyahu’s speech, over 100 countries’ representatives walked out of the hall, criticizing Israel’s military actions in Gaza and demanding a ceasefire. Netanyahu condemned these nations, accusing them of supporting terrorists, stating that their actions were akin to rewarding terrorism.
