An Israeli air strike in Sana’a, Yemen, is reported to have killed Houthi Prime Minister Ahmed al-Rahawi. This information was obtained from The Times of Israel, which cited the Yemeni newspaper Al-Jumhuriya. The strike took place on August 28th, hitting al-Rahawi’s apartment and resulting in the deaths of several other Houthi members.

Israeli officials have suggested that Defense Minister Mohammed al-Atifi and Chief of Staff Muhammad Abd al-Karim al-Ghamari were also casualties of these attacks. This strike came a day after a separate attack on a group of senior Houthi ministers who were attending a speech by group leader Abdul Malik al-Houthi.
