Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel has warned against the recognition of a Palestinian state, claiming it is tantamount to rewarding terrorism. He underscored that there will be no Palestinian state established west of the Jordan River. Netanyahu stated that he plans to provide a detailed reply after returning from his trip to the United States. He took to Twitter to express his message to those leaders acknowledging a Palestinian state after the October 7th massacre. He emphasized that such recognition offers a reward to terror and that the creation of a Palestinian state is not going to happen. He further stated he has worked to prevent the creation of a Palestinian state. The Israeli Prime Minister also mentioned the expansion of Jewish settlements in Judea and Samaria. He asserted that a proper response would be delivered upon his return from the United States. Following a collaborative effort, Australia, Canada, and the UK recognized the State of Palestine, calling for a two-state solution. The statement from Australia’s Prime Minister’s Office indicated that Australia officially recognizes an independent and sovereign State of Palestine. The Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs has condemned the actions, stating that it would jeopardize the security in the region and is contrary to what it sought to achieve. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.
