Israel’s military arsenal is expanding with a technological upgrade that significantly enhances its offensive capabilities. This advancement enables precision targeting and strategic adjustments, offering a decisive edge in potential confrontations. The core of this upgrade lies in Israel’s advanced satellite technology, which now facilitates real-time intelligence gathering and immediate target identification. Israel’s intelligence gathering includes the Ofek-series satellites, known for high-level surveillance and espionage, and the Eros satellites. The recent addition of the Dror-1 communication satellite has further strengthened Israel’s communication infrastructure. Israeli satellites took images of millions of square kilometers of Iranian territory before and during the June war, enabling real-time information. These advancements position Israel to monitor both Iran and the Houthi rebels in Yemen effectively and respond rapidly to perceived threats.
