Hundreds of Indian students studying in Iran are pleading with the Indian government for urgent evacuation amidst the ongoing conflict and escalating safety concerns. Reports of near-constant explosions and restricted movement are generating panic. Imtisal Mohidin, a medical student at Shahid Beheshti University, and others are experiencing the turmoil firsthand, seeking refuge in basements and struggling with limited communication. Despite the Indian Embassy’s efforts to provide support and issue advisories, students feel vulnerable and unsafe. The students desperately want to come back to India. The Ministry of External Affairs is monitoring the situation.
