Tehran, July 28 – Iranian officials announced that the Bushar civilian airport in the country's southwest is completely out of order following a series of U.S. missile attacks. Government spokesperson Fatemeh Mohajerani told reporters that the airfield would need to be rebuilt from the ground up, stating that a newly acquired aircraft, refurbished for public service, was destroyed in the strike, leaving only a small rear fragment behind. She also claimed that the nearby Bushar meteorological centre, a civilian institution, suffered near‑total damage. Iran warned that the assaults have severely harmed civilian infrastructure, although the nuclear power plant in the area reportedly remains operational and unharmed.
