New Delhi, October 4 (IANS) – Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi said the government has introduced a fresh framework to cope with the unique challenges facing the nation. In a post on the social media platform X, Raisi noted that external attempts to increase economic pressure have failed to achieve their objectives. He emphasized that the cooperation of the Iranian people, combined with decisive steps taken by government officials, prevented the adversary from succeeding in what he termed an "economic war."
Raisi explained that over the past months, hostile forces tried to cripple essential services to strain the population, but the new system helped mitigate those effects. He thanked divine providence and the resilience of citizens for thwarting the economic assault.
