Tehran is pointing fingers at Washington and Tel Aviv amid escalating protests rocking Iran. Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi dropped a bombshell during a meeting with foreign diplomats on Monday, claiming irrefutable evidence links the United States and Israel to the chaos engulfing the nation.
The accusations come as violent clashes between demonstrators and security forces have claimed numerous lives. Protests have spiraled into destruction, with mosques, medical centers, and other buildings set ablaze across the country. Araghchi asserted that these orchestrated disturbances aim to create a pretext for U.S. military intervention under President Donald Trump.
‘We possess documents and evidence proving American and Israeli involvement in recent terrorist acts in Iran,’ Araghchi declared. He highlighted recordings of audio messages instructing armed infiltrators to fire on protesters, target police, and even attack innocent civilians. Many victims reportedly suffered gunshot wounds from behind, suggesting coordinated assassinations.
Araghchi didn’t stop there. He alleged that Mossad agents, fluent in Farsi, had infiltrated the protests, aiding saboteurs with weapons and directives from foreign powers. Tehran vows to expose these plots, framing the unrest not as genuine public outrage but as a foreign-orchestrated campaign to destabilize the Islamic Republic.
As tensions mount, the U.S. has warned of potential strikes if Iranian forces harm protesters further. This war of words underscores deepening geopolitical rifts, with Iran positioning itself as a victim of external aggression while the world watches for the next move in this high-stakes drama.
