The Indian Embassy in Washington, DC paid tribute to the daddy of the country, Mahatma Gandhi, on his 153rd start anniversary on the Gandhi Memorial Heart.

Floral tributes had been paid at a number of installations of Gandhi’s statue together with in New York, San Francisco and Houston.

Born on October 2, 1869, in Porbandar the city of Gujarat, Mahatma Gandhi followed a non-violent resistance and used to be at the leading edge of the liberty fight towards British colonial rule.
Globally, Gandhi’s start anniversary is widely known because the Global Day of Non-Violence. A number of occasions had been held in India and the world over to mark the instance.
Top Minister Narendra Modi, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Speaker Om Birla and Congress president Sonia Gandhi had been amongst those that presented floral tributes to the portraits of Mahatma Gandhi.
