India has strongly opposed the Turkish President’s comments. India has made it clear to Turkey that Kashmir is an internal matter. In an official statement, the Indian Ministry of External Affairs rejected the Turkish leader’s remarks. Foreign Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal stated that Jammu and Kashmir is an integral part of India. He asserted that no other country has the right to comment on this. It would be better if the cross-border terrorism policy of Pakistan against India, which poses the biggest threat to the people of Jammu and Kashmir, was condemned rather than commenting on the internal affairs of another country.
