The unfolding situation in Europe suggests that Trump may not be willing to offer security guarantees to Ukraine, which could signal the start of a new phase of destruction. The potential for conflict involves not only Russia and Ukraine but also a possible clash between a US-less NATO and Russia. The severity of the situation will depend on Trump’s position, since France and Germany have stated that it could develop into a third world war.

The German Chancellor’s statement is that Ukraine will never surrender and that the whole of Europe is with Ukraine. Providing them with security guarantees is their right and talks are continuing. The question that is now being asked is which countries are NATO countries talking to because Trump has already refused to provide security guarantees. Could it be that NATO countries are preparing for a long war? If this happens, there will be no way to save Europe from destruction.
