President Trump has extended a deadline to Hamas regarding his proposed peace plan for Gaza, threatening dire consequences if it is not accepted. The deadline is set for Sunday, 6 PM, Washington D.C. time. Trump stated on Truth Social that, “An Agreement must be reached with Hamas by Sunday Evening at SIX (6) P.M., Washington, D.C. time,” warning that failure to do so would unleash “all HELL, like no one has ever seen before.” He emphasized his commitment to bringing peace to the region, adding, “THERE WILL BE PEACE IN THE MIDDLE EAST ONE WAY OR THE OTHER.” The proposed deal, which was presented with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, includes the release of hostages within 72 hours, the disarmament of Hamas, and Israel’s gradual withdrawal from Gaza.
