The UN human rights office has also documented a large number of fatalities near aid locations. Reports suggest that Israeli and US forces have admitted to shooting unarmed Palestinians seeking aid. The WFP has described the situation in Gaza as dire, hindered by the inability to get food supplies into the area despite having sufficient provisions.
