A shocking automotive incident in Sydney’s Hornsby district has led to the death of an eight-months-pregnant woman of Indian descent and her unborn baby. Samanvitha Dhareshwar, 33, was on a family outing with her husband and son on Friday when the tragedy unfolded. Reports indicate the family was crossing a footpath when a Kia Carnival slowed down. Simultaneously, a BMW sedan, allegedly under the control of 19-year-old Aaron Papazoglu, collided with the rear of the Kia. The subsequent jolt forcefully propelled the Kia into Ms. Dhareshwar. Paramedics administered immediate life-saving measures at the scene before transporting her to Westmead Hospital. Sadly, despite all medical efforts, the mother and her baby could not be saved. Ms. Dhareshwar, who worked as an IT systems analyst, was mere weeks away from her due date. The young driver involved has been apprehended by authorities and faces grave charges, including dangerous driving resulting in death and causing the loss of a foetus. Investigations are actively underway to reconstruct the events leading to this devastating outcome.
