Russian forces have gained control of two settlements in the Donetsk region of Ukraine, as reported on Saturday, following operations conducted over the previous day. The Ministry of Defense confirmed that Seredne and Kleban-Byk are now under Russian control. Alongside this territorial advance, the Russian military conducted strikes against a Ukrainian military-industrial facility and numerous temporary bases used by Ukrainian armed forces and foreign fighters, impacting 143 targets. Concurrently, Russian air defense systems effectively countered Ukrainian air activity, destroying four aerial bombs and 160 drones. These military actions are occurring during a period of U.S.-brokered peace negotiations aimed at resolving the conflict between the two nations.
