Debris of Missing Bermuda-to-Boston Medical Flight Found, Search Ongoing

The United States Coast Guard has confirmed the recovery of wreckage from a medical transport aircraft that vanished while en route from Bermuda to Boston. The Gulfstream G100, registered as C‑GRJP and operated by Latitude Air Ambulance of Canada, lost contact with air traffic control early Saturday morning. Six occupants – four Canadian nationals and two from Bermuda – were aboard the aircraft.

Coast Guard air and maritime units converged on the coastline near Nainatash, where they located debris that matched the missing plane's specifications. The ship William Sparling remained on station through the night to support the ongoing rescue and recovery operation.

Flight data indicated a rapid altitude loss from roughly 24,000 feet to about 11,000 feet before communications were interrupted. Pilots reported an electrical failure and declared an emergency shortly before the crash. Families of the six passengers have been notified, and authorities continue to search for survivors.
